The Stout series Big Dog mowers are aptly named. Rugged heavy duty construction make this mower tough to break. 10 gauge deck shell with 11 gauge spindle reinforcements along with a 3/8 inch impact bar make this deck one tough animal. Features like a bolstered seat, LED lights, automatic parking brake, and 5 gallon fuel tank make this mower comfortable and easy to like.

Heavier, faster transmissions and larger tires than the Alpha MP may be another reason to step up to the Stout. ROPS is standard. If you are doing commercial mowing we would recommend going with the Stout over a lower cost machine.
